Tests and Inspections
Frequent tests and inspections on your fire suppression system help to keep it ready in the event of an emergency or fire. When you have a properly maintained fire protection system including the use of fire sprinklers, fire alarms, fire suppression systems and portable fire extinguishers it has been proven to be the most effective way to save life and property from the dangers of fire. Residential, commercial or industrial building owners are responsible for making sure they are staying compliant with state, city and municipal health, building and fire codes contact your local fire marshall for details.
Your fire protection system including the installed fire sprinklers, fire alarms, fire suppression systems and even your portable fire extinguishers will all require regular scheduled tests and inspections according to NFPA standards and codes. This helps to ensure that all fire suppression systems will operate in an emergency situation and are ready for use. Commercial and industrial fire suppression systems may also be required by state, city and municipal health, building and fire codes to have all installed fire suppression systems tested and inspected by local fire departments, state licensed fire suppression companies, certified fire suppression technicians and/or fire safety engineers.
